Under Danish legislation, possessing a Danish powerboat license is mandatory for operating a RIB or any other type of powerboat registered in Denmark.
Many international licenses have an equivalent in Denmark, enabling conversion to a Danish license.
The Danish Sailing Association is authorized to convert international licenses into Danish ones. To initiate this process, we require a copy of your license and comprehensive information about the test requirements. Please provide these details in English, Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish. Failure to furnish test requirement details may result in application rejection.
Upon receiving your documents, we'll evaluate the information to determine the Danish license that aligns best with your international license. Please note that this process may take up to 5 weeks.
